COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION AND MANAGEMENT
The COG annually signs a contract with the Allegheny County Department of Development to undertake the complete administration of this Federal program. On behalf of our municipal members the COG coordinates all projects from application through and including bid stage; working with applicable municipal staff and consulting engineers and our D.O.E.D. Municipal Representative. Since 1986, our NHCOG historical list of CDBG projects totals approximately 18 million in Federal and local shares. The COG single annual audit covers CDBG and is also a cost savings to the municipal members.
