Notice is hereby given that the specifications and proposal forms are available from the North Hills Council of Governments (NHCOG) for the above mentioned project.

***All bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified as a prime contractor and meet the work classification codes of E, F, F1, F2, H, and Q.  All bids submitted must have the contractor's valid pre-qualification certification attached to bid or it will be rejected.***

A nonrefundable fee of Sixty-Five Dollars ($65), payable in advance, will be charged for each set of the above specification if it is to be mailed or Sixty Dollars ($60) if it is to be picked up at the NHCOG offices at 300 Wetzel Road, Suite 201, Glenshaw, PA between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm weekdays. All checks must be made payable to the North Hills Council of Governments. Request specifications and proposal form.

Sealed bids will be received at the NHCOG office at 300 Wetzel Road, Suite 201, Glenshaw, PA 15116 until 11:00 am, prevailing time, on Thursday, October 17, 2024. All bid proposals will be opened and read at that time at the NHCOG office. The NHCOG reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part and to waive any informalities.

Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Cashiers's Check, or Certified Check made payable, without condition, to the North Hills Council of Governments in an amount no less than 10% of the bid. Cash will not be accepted.

Brief description of project: Pavement maintenance on various roads in the Borough of Etna, removal and replacement of  ADA Curb Ramps, removal and replacement of  PennDOT Type M Inlet Box Frame and Bicycle Safe Grates and restoration.
